Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park

This 150-acre park includes six tennis courts (four lighted), facilities for camping, sports, swimming, picnicking and fishing. Swimmers can use the Olympic-size pool during summer months. Open-air pavilions are available, and an enclosed pavilion will accommodate up to 500 for special events. The Lady Bird Johnson Golf Club is a par-72; 6,432-yard championship18-hole golf course with practice facilities featuring 20 hitting stations, two practice greens and a practice bunker to work on those tricky little shots around the green or those long sand shots.

This 718-acre park where visitors to this day-use park can enjoy historical study, picnicking, nature study, fishing, swimming and view Texas longhorn cattle. The abundant wildlife of the Hill Country is highlighted by enclosures containing buffalo, longhorn, and white-tailed deer. These animals have played a part in the park's history and the local wildlife continues to be an important attraction for visitors. The park is famous for its spring wildflower display.

As the most recent addition to event facilities, this lovely home is designed for gatherings of 60 to 80 people, and is available for rent. It has a full kitchen, and tables and chairs are included in the rental fee. There is also a fenced-in patio.
